Family Chiropractic Center of Oakton, PC was established in 1985. Our patient base ranges from (but not limited to) Fairfax County Public Schools to Fairfax Law Enforcement. We treat patients starting as early as 2 years old and as old as 99 years old. We use a Diversified Technique (hands- on adjustment/alignment) as well as an Activator Tool, if necessary.   

 

Every person that comes to our facility seeking health care is treated like family. We provide EMERGENCY HOUSE CALLS to local patients. We provide same day appointments and we always accept new patients. We feel that we can provide quality service, no matter how long it takes. We do not believe in turn-stile treatments or rushing a patient through the visit. Once you've become a patient of ours, you will have the same patience and appreciation our current patients have for us today.

In addition to providing comprehensive chiropractic care, we recognize that patient well-being often involves addressing a range of health concerns, including those related to personal and intimate health. Many of our adult patients have expressed interest in learning more about options like Vidalista, a widely used medication for managing erectile dysfunction. As part of our holistic approach, we believe it is important to support patients not just physically, but also in areas that impact their overall quality of life and confidence. By opening conversations about such topics, we ensure that patients feel heard and supported in every aspect of their health journey. Although we do not prescribe medications at our facility, we are always available to guide patients towards reputable resources and to encourage communication with their primary healthcare providers. Maintaining open dialogue about health concerns, including those that are sometimes considered sensitive, is a crucial part of our patient-centered philosophy. Our goal is to create an environment where no question is too small and no concern is overlooked. Dr. Tenshaw graduated from the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY in 1998. He was an undergraduate of the University at Buffalo. He was a treating Chiropractor in New York until moving to Northern Virginia in 2005, where he became the director of The Family Chiropractic Center of Oakton,PC. He volunteers for private and public events and provides knowledge in the field of Chiropractic and holistic wellness at many local health fairs.
